Segway Personal Transporter

With the prices of motor fuel ever on the increase, transportation is now increasingly becoming an expensive affair. Driving cars is no more economical and it also adds to the dangerous emission levels of automobile exhausts. The transporter introduced by Segway has two wheels with an upright set of handlebars that are connected to a platform. It is electrically run and requires to be charged to take one around. In order to keep the machine upright there are motors and computers that are located in the base of the machine.

To navigate the transporter, users simply have to adjust their posture in different directions in order to steer the Segway towards the course it is intended to go. To move forward the user has to lean forward, to go backwards one has to lean back and to turn right or left the user will have to lean to the right or left on the handlebars thus making it an extremely easy mode of transport.

The electric motor within the personal transporter can reach speeds up to twelve and a half miles per hour and a range of twenty miles. A traditional braking system is not used on the machine. But the motor will be able to detect the need for breaking and slowing down.

This phenomenal machine is an economical and safe way for daily travel apart from being very handy to use for various other routine tasks. Besides being a great way to save on fuel and help contribute towards saving our environment.
